Bless all the dear children in Thy tender care…
These two photos of Faith and Hope as infants in 2010 and now in 2018 fill my heart with gratitude for our Heavenly Father’s grace in their lives. When their mother learned that she was too far along in her pregnancy to abort them, she contemplated abandoning them at birth, but her doctor intervened and told her of the Children’s Home. So we, the whole Faith In Deeds family including you, were given the opportunity to love them and care for them.
As newborns, I was so concerned for them each weighing only 2lbs at birth. I knew how easily one illness could overtake their little bodies, but God tenderly strengthened them. They weren’t sick even once until they were over 6 months old when they’re immune systems were more developed – think of that in a home of 50 children! Faith and Hope are now 8 years old and in second grade. They are bright and both do well in school. They love to dance and play with all of their friends. They both have memorized Bible verses in Telugu and English.
