FAITH IN DEEDS PURPOSE STATEMENT
The purpose of Faith in Deeds Ministry is to support of disenfranchised children of India by providing the children with:
1.A family atmosphere in which they can be discipled in the ways of the Lord Jesus.
2.Educating them in a manner that they can make properly informed life-decisions based on a Biblical world view.
3.Training them in a trade that would provide them opportunity to be gainfully employed while making positive contributions to
their community.
4. Inspiring them to love each other and to share the love of Jesus throughout their community.
As a result, the presence of the FID Children’s Home, and the process of the discipleship of the children who reside there, lends to an overall system of social development within the community in which it serves.
FAITH IN DEEDS VISION STATEMENT
RESCUE. The Faith In Deeds Children’s Home in India serves as an instrument of the Lord for the purpose of rescuing disenfranchised children from oppressive and hopeless life-situations in the streets and villages of the lower class peoples in the predominately Hindu culture where the home is located.
DISCIPLE. The Faith In Deeds Children’s Home in India serves as an instrument of the Lord for the purpose of making disciples of Jesus Christ through a very intentional discipleship schedule and program that the children are engaged in throughout their formative years at the home.
RELEASE. The Faith In Deeds Children’s Home in India serves as an instrument of the Lord for the purpose of releasing trained disciples of the Lord back into the culture from which they were rescued to develop relationships while serving as productive members of their communities and sharing their faith and the hope that they have in Christ
through relationship evangelism. Through this three-step process we envision the expansion of the Kingdom of the Lord
Jesus Christ through the ‘multiplication’ process of disciple-making that Jesus both taught and modeled while here on earth.
