That same day she made the decision to leave them at the FID home. The girls were relieved that they no longer had to beg for food to provide for themselves. Now the staff at the FID home takes good care of Bagylatha.
Before arriving at the FID home, Bagylatha was taught about their family god, Venkatesheswra, the “god of all Hindu godsâ€. She and the others study the Bible and pray with each other every day.

They heard about FIDCS through a boy that lives at a government hostel not far from here. He goes to school with our children and visits us regularly. He told these ladies that he wouldn't put the little girl in a hostel but the FID children's home is a great place! FID staff agreed to take in Gavatri and explained all of the implications with her mother. She agreed saying, "I'm too young to waste my life as a widowâ€
